License to excel ?

So i went down to the Department of taxation today and aquired my vendors license . My first step on my journey to getting my life back on track and getting myself out of my rut , and dead end job . Everything went pretty well . All of the people down there were incredibly nice and it just gave me a sense ease for whatever reason .
Coming back to the suburbs , i had this sence of accomplishment . Yeah i know , i didn't do much of anything , but i finally did something more than put pencil to paper and actually took a step towards making something out of what i produce with my designs . I feel like i've started a new adventure , and i'm sure it will be . I even went to the local mall and got some litereture on setting up a kiosk in the mall . Talked to one of the ladies who had her own and she said it was alot of hours , but it was worth it . I'm used to the long hours working in the machine shop so that doesn't scare me . I'd rather work in an air conditioned mall than in a hot filthy machine shop where sixteen guys share a toilet that nobody cleans .
I was going through my notebooks last night and pulling out designs that were scattered amonst the hundreds of pages ... And i have to say , i've got some really cool designs . When you can look at something you've designed and say " damn that's cool " , you know you've done well . An artist is always his own worse critic , and believe me there are plenty of shit designs , but there are alot of viable things in there as well . You can definately tell when i was in the mood and when i wasn't .
So now i begin the task of completing more new designs into black and white camera ready artwork . I'll begin the research of a print run cost and decide which designs to go with first . Should be fun . At least i feel alive again .
Carry on then little man :)
